Practice Engine (formerly Recall Health) is an AI-powered patient reactivation platform that automatically identifies and re-engages overdue or lapsed patients to help healthcare practices fill provider schedules and improve retention. The company approached Whistle to build an outbound programme targeting US-based optometry and audiology practices, using a "three Cs" strategy of customer lookalikes, competitor clients, and complementary tech stacks. Whistle deployed two dedicated SDRs, running outreach through founder Aleta's authentic LinkedIn profile to maximise response credibility while keeping Practice Engine's CRM clean of outreach data.
18 meetings booked within the first month of outreach with 8 sales qualified leads so far.
The initial campaign scope was deliberately narrow, focused on US optometry and audiology practices with 11–50 employees, leaving room to expand into the many other specialties Practice Engine already serves (including dermatology, dentistry, ENT, gastroenterology, and behavioural health). Whistle's SDRs are continuously conducting outbound for multiple industry events that Practice Engine plans to attend over the year, which were discussed as an opportunity for Whistle's SDRs to pre-book targeted discovery meetings around, suggesting event-driven outbound as a planned extension of the programme.
Routing outbound activity through CCO's own LinkedIn profile, rather than a generic SDR account, was used specifically to raise response credibility and keep lead equity with the client, a deliberate design choice for a healthcare buyer that is wary of cold outreach.
Running outreach through Whistle's own systems, rather than directly inside Practice Engine's HubSpot, kept the client's CRM free of outreach noise while still surfacing qualified data via dashboard access and CSV exports.
Matching SDRs with prior healthcare/health-tech backgrounds, combined with a structured four-step onboarding process and ongoing AI roleplay simulations, was the specific mechanism used to handle industry-specific objections and reach decision-makers.
